Decimals, fractions, and percentages are used everywhere in the real world. From tipping on your bill to paying for a bill to calculating sales when shopping, nobody can avoid any of those 3 concepts. The methods in this LibGuide should ease the pain of calculating what decimals and fractions mean in relation to percentages.
This is very similar to the steps we used in the “Decimal to Percent.” There is an additional step. All fractions are the same as division, so we can divide the numerator by the denominator to get a decimal form. After we get our decimal, you can choose any strategy you want to convert the decimal to percent.
